Boris Aronson is considered to be one of the most famous visionaries and innovators in American Theatre during the 20th century. His contributions to scenic design are unparalleled to any other designer in the past century. Aronson is well known for his unbelievable imagination and use of the stage, combined with the ability to budget the set within the means of the theatre. 1 Aronson is a eight-time Tony Award Winner for Scenic Design, which is the most any scenic designer has ever won in the category. 2
